DAY 1: ARRIVAL – ARUSHA CITY

Upon arrival at the airport our representative will meet and greet you and later you will be picked up take you to your accommodation in Arusha. You will have some rests in the lodge and an overnight stay preparing yourself for the safari on the following day.

 

DAY 2: BIG TIME IN THE PARK WITH THE BIG NUMBERS OF ELEPHANTS AND BAOBAB TREES “AFRICA’S TREE OF LIFE“

Tarangire National park takes on the sixth largest position among Tanzania’s National parks. Being here you will get a chance to explore many species as it is habitat to plenty of wildlife like zebras, about 300 elephants, migratory wildebeest, eland, gazelle, impala, zebras, kudu, rhino, hartebeest buffalo and other smaller mammals. You will also enjoy spotting a large batch of colorful and exclusive bird species where by over 550 different bird species are spread all over Tarangire. And its sparse vegetation scattered with baobab and acacia trees.
Later you will go for evening leisure and overnight in your accommodation.

 

DAY 3: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

Our today drive will take us to Lake Manyara Park, a small but it is diverse in ecosystem with huge variety of animal and bird life. It is rightly famous for its tree climbing lions and boisterous baboons. The game in Lake Manyara includes plenty of elephants, wildebeest along with so many giraffes, and buffalo, zebras, impala, warthog and waterbuck. Flocks of pelicans and pink shading of distant flamingos can be seen in the middle of the lake. Among the margins and floodplains, feeding so many egrets, stilts erons, spoonbills, stalks and other waders.
To make your day beautiful you, you may choose to add Mto wa mbu village visits, Masai visits, Lake Manyara nature walk etc. (activity supplement applies).

 

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy the morning breakfast before head to Serengeti national park via Ngorongoro conservation area. The Serengeti national park is the largest park in Tanzania with diverse landscapes and habitats such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savanna and mountains. Central part of Serengeti, Seronera is a year-round game viewing site with greater diversity of resident’s wildlife than anywhere in Serengeti including elephant, giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, reedbuck, buffalo and baboon, which remain even after the spectacular hordes of blue wildebeest and zebras have gone. Lion, leopard and cheetah can be spotted in one day game drives. Enjoy the game drive before heading to your accommodation for leisure and overnight.

 

DAY 5: BIG TIME IN “THE BIG CAT CAPITAL OF AFRICA“ – SERENGETI

Following your morning breakfast you go for a full day drive in the “the big cat capital of Africa”. This interesting landscape will provide us with ultimate game viewing of the plain games like giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and lions and if lucky we can spot leopards and cheetah as well as huge amount of bird life including secretary birds and flightless ostrich. Enjoy the great time in Seronera area the heart of Serengeti and the richest wildlife habitats in the park together with Seronera River a source of water to this area which also attracts wildlife.
After a full day game viewing you will head back to your camp for more evening leisure dinner and overnight stay.

 

DAY 6: DRIVE TO THE NORTHERN PART OF SERENGETI FOR MIGRATION WITNESSES

Following migration our today drive will take us to north Serengeti. Many species such as leopard, lion, cheetah and even rhino can be seen in this secluded corner of the northern Serengeti. This is when the wildebeest are in the northern Serengeti plains, and you will have a chance of seeing up to thousands crossing the great Mara River.

 

DAY 7: GREAT TIME IN MARA RIVER WAITING FOR CROSSING

Enjoy the full day along Mara River, exploring the northern and southern banks, waiting for possible crossing. Watching the energy build until the final amazing crossing of the river. Enjoy the excellent views of the southern Masai Mara plains towards the north and beautiful sunset towards the west. July – October: This is when the wildebeest are in the northern Serengeti plains, and you have a chance of seeing up to thousands crossing the great Mara River. As the sight of the wildebeest crossing the so dramatic, it is considered by many the most desirable time to see the migration.
Later you will go back to your camp for some rest, dinner and overnight stay.

 

DAY 8: FINAL GAME DRIVE IN NORTHERN SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CONSERVANCY

Wake up and enjoy the morning game drive. Later you will drive back to your camp for breakfast. You will go for the final drive in the remained part of Serengeti and later you will start driving back to Ngorongoro while enjoying the game on your way. Arriving at the edge of the crater Ngorongoro you will have your first foretaste of what awaits you the following day- glistening streams, open grassland and infinite number of animals.
Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

 

DAY 9: NGORONGORO CONSERVANCY

After breakfast you will drive down to the adventurous track in the crater. Due to its dense animal population approximately 25000, the crater offers the best game viewing of all the places in Tanzania. You will be able to see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. There is also Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can be seen here. The best place to see Big Five animals and one of the most beautiful natural wildlife sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with local Maasai people.
Then drive back to Arusha for your departure.
